Nick grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, which he says "is absolutely beautiful. It's right on the water, with loads of surfing and sailing and stuff." Although fairly busy these days, Nick still manages to find some time to come back home for at least a month each year. He claims that the biggest upside of modelling for him is the amount of time he gets outside of work. For example, he just finished his degree in London, and hopes to continue his education part-time when in New York.
On his spare time, Nick spends time touching up on his surfing technique and learning the game of golf.
